Welcome to the Original Performance Team website!
Original Performance Team is a corporate project focused on personal development (soft skills) as well as on team creation and development. Methods used are corporate role play, dramatic improvisations, dialogic acting, Teatro Forum and Teatro Academy. Our international team is representing the “corporate drama” global trend in Central and Eastern Europe.
Theatre is the primary means of communication. It has fulfilled its function since the beginning of the humankind. In the last decades, theatre has been perceived as an artistic field; however, this has not always been the case. Original Performance Team perceives theatre in a much wider sense. It is close to the words of Shakespeare “All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances and one man in his time plays many parts.“ In our conception, stage is a playful and functional school, where you can try out different things on the secure territory of the game.
Theatrical company is a synonym for a team in crisis. That is why the rules of dramatic trainings are very strict and are almost identical to the rules of communication. The auditorium challenges objectively our communication art. At the same time, it is the mirror of our precision, flexibility, and the ability to cooperate.
The basis of the OPT project are interactive trainings that include all aspects of personal, interpersonal and managerial development. What connects all the OPT modules is the drive towards clear communication, the ability to exist in the present, perceive, act, react, listen, receive, improvise, lead oneself and the others. The modules are variable regarding the length of the trainings. They can be run separately or as a part of your work program or off-site. All particular trainings are dynamic and practical. It is a direct form of practice, which is immediately applicable. All modules connect drama techniques with your corporate reality.
